I’m an accidental blogger. My entrepreneurial journey began when I felt drawn to live out Pablo Picasso’s advice to “Never permit a dichotomy to rule your life, a dichotomy in which you hate what you do so you can have pleasure in your spare time. Look for a situation in which your work will give you as much happiness as your spare time.” Since I have always had a perennial love affair with books since childhood, blogging and putting up a book summary site is one of the best decisions that I have made because it allows me to live a life devoted to learning and sharing what I have learned. This career experiment fascinates me because it is the logical offshoot to the previous day job that I also enjoyed much—teaching. Another hobby that I also pursue as a business venture is experimental mycology. I am working on developing cheaper, simpler, and easier ways of growing mushrooms, and make these nutritious and tasty fungi, more available to the market at a fraction of its current cost.
My other hobbies are doodling, checking out the interesting internet sites, playing chess, and basketball because I am the heir-apparent of Michael Jordan, but my playmates cannot accept this fact yet, and are still living in denial—I’m giving them more time to come to their senses.
